I think it's time to show off a little of what we have aquired from down under. Here's my picture of my most favorite things I have of Madonna, I could sell most of my stuff if needed but these things I can never part with.

You've just made candyperfumegirl go green I also have that LAP picture disc CD - that is incredibly rare (bought mine in Sydney). I contacted someone on a big Madonna site about it - he thought it was a fake since he'd never heard of it - he later saw one auctioned in the UK for over GBP200.00. The Papa Don't Preach pic disc is rare, and the You Can Dance (love them, got the Papa Don't Preach not long ago). Also just won an auction for the DSS cd - I see you have the LP. I have the Royal Box (but the cassette version) - still has the poster though. You mentioned somewhere the 12" for Another Suitcase In Another Hall - I read on 991.com the other day - about the cd - that it was only released in a few countries and then the single was withdrawn after a few days.... (I have the Bedtime Story "book" cd, would like the blue velvet cd album version....)

That is not the LAP picture disc cd, it's dear jessie. I have heard about the LAP pic disc, never seen it in real life. From all accounts it's from Australia but many believe it's a bootleg. Still I would like to have it I guess but your right, so expensive!!! I have the DSS soundtrack on CD also, does yours also have "Mr Right"? Even the record does. . . Pity it does not contain the song Desperately Seeking Susan which I heard Madonna recorded a demo of that title (never released) they decided to go with Into the groove instead.

| It was pressed in Germany, but for some reason they only appeared in Australia for sale. No-one seems to know much more about them. The guy, I think at Madonnacollector.com is now sure it's for real after he saw one auctioned. I'm sure it is too, I bought mine from the Virgin megastore (near) George St in Sydney - well, it has the same picture on it as the Dear Jessie - cd single?? I've actually just recently paid for the DSS cd - it hasn't arrived yet - I was also bidding on the LP, but lost out on that one. Hey, Gen!! The LAV white vinyl arrived today!! Told you it wouldn't take long to get here!!!

It's not actually a soundtrack to the movie - there was no actual soundtrack.

Although I recently found a download and saved it preciously onto CD as well as my external drive. But hells teeth, Never even crossed my mind to add the CD and Vinyl to my collection- Just found a cassette and CD, so will look forward to the Vinyl one day. I love that score, it soooo brings the movie back to ones mind vividly when listening to it.

I love the song that plays over Madonna's introduction. It's a remake of "Urgent" by Foreigner. It's now high up on my Most Played playlist on my iPod - totally awesome song. The whole thing is just, written for her. "You're not shy, you get around You wanna fly, don't want your feet on the ground You stand up, you won't come down You wanna live You wanna move to the sound Got fire in your veins, Burnin' hot but you don't feel the flame. Your desire is insane. You can't stop until you do it again." _________________
