If anyone else saw the montage video for the Hall of Fame induction ...



Skip to "1.15" into the video. I ALWAYS WONDERED where that Virgin Tour footage came from, cos that's not the shot in the VHS/Laserdisc. Skip to about 5:40 on your video, Gen, and there it is! Same height, angle and everything!

Official camera footage or just something poached for the montage?

Dunno if its official or not, but it begs the question, why would they use that crappy shot for the montage and not something clear and vibrant from the VHS?

Ooh useless trivia: In the youtube I posted, the lyric:

"Don't be afraid
It's gonna be alright."

Originally came from the jellybean remix of Promises, Promises by Naked Eyed that she contributed vocals on.

It was later used in the song "Stay" on LAV.

In that montage, it looks sharper and clearer than the VHS version. Maybe it was remastered a while ago and then forgot about. Because that is a lot better quality video to leak on YouTube than, say, a VHS rip from 23 years ago would be. In fact, it boggles the mind.

That being said, if thats a DVD remaster that leaked on youtube, rather than stock footage about to be remastered at a later date, I'll have to hit them with rusty chains.
