Just watching the news and feeling very lucky indeed to be spared (so far) from the awful weather wreaking havoc. Be safe all of you...

In Evans bay, Wellington, we have barely had a gust of wind all day and only spitting rain earlier.
Its awfully calm this way. I hope we arent being spared for something much worse!

Everyone at school is of the opinion that the storm missed us. Fingers crossed!
