Have just discovered Plant Life's album Time Traveller and love it.

Especially love the tracks; Sun Shines Through Your Love and Rollerskate Jam.

I heard the album playing in Real Groovy the other week and my partner and I were so certain it was Flight of the Conchords, but the lyrics weren't crass or ridiculous.

Great album though, very catchy and awesome throwback to 70's soul/funk.

A reviewer summed it up as: "Throw Prince, Jamiroquai, and Musiq Soulchild into a blender with a bowl of cherries and hot fudge. Savvy?"

Ohh, and Im hooked on that ridiculous Jackie Moon song from the movie Semi-Pro, Love Me Sexy LOL
Nile Rodgers produced it, so of course it sounds funkilicious!
Pity about the lyrics though, I can only play the instrumental around my daughter!

I'm a huge Stevie Nicks fan.

At least my friends have heard of Madonna ... tell a teenager you're a fan of Stevie Nicks and they ask, "Who's that guy?"

What's a poor teenage boy to do?
