Pick which ones are your faves, which ones are boring/too similar to album mix for your taste, and which ones suck alltogether.

Here's your choices, y'all:

Everybody (Extended Version)
Everybody (Dub Version)
Borderline (U.S. Remix)
Borderline (Dub Remix)
Burning Up (Extended Version)
Lucky Star (U.S. Remix)
Like A Virgin (Extended Dance Remix)
Material Girl (Jellybean Dance Remix)
Angel (Extended Dance Mix)
Gambler (Extended Dance Remix)
Dress You Up (The 12' Formal Mix)
Papa Don't Preach (Extended Version)
True Blue (The Color Mix)
Open Your Heart (Extended Version)
Open Your Heart (Dub)
La Isla Bonita (Extended Remix)
Who's That Girl (Extended Version)
Causing A Commotion (Silver Screen Mix)
Causing A Commotion (Dub Version)
Causing A Commotion (Movie House Mix)
Like A Prayer (12'' Extended Remix)
Like A Prayer (12'' Dance Remix)
Like A Prayer (12'' Club Remix)
Express Yourself (Non-Stop Express Mix)
Express Yourself (Local Mix)
Cherish (Extended Version)

My faves:

Lucky Star (The skittery undercurrent makes it more exciting!)
Angel (Live audience element? Creative and works well)
Open Your Heart (Extended) (Just great)
Who's That Girl (Again with a live sound: wind!! Lol)
Like a Prayer (Extended) (Love the electric guitar, a fierce rock song)
Express Yourself (Non-Stop Mix) (Simply for the 1989 MTV performance)

The one I hate:

Like a Prayer (Club Remix): Weird and boring. Just, urgh. Act of Contrition is cooler.

Open your heart was always my fav extended mix "in" the 80's. I had a friend who had the best stereo system at the time and put it onto a cassette for me and I was in my element on my walkman. Material girl was pretty cool, I always thought like a virgin extended was boring, lucky star was another fav. But I must admit my all time favorites were the mixes of Like A Prayer and Express Yourself and causing a commotion was wicked at the time.

HATE the True Blue remixes, I always avoid those ones. That song wasn't made for remixing lol

The True Blue "Remix/Edit" has some bonus lyrics at the end that made me stare at my record player in surprise. She starts shouting at her backup singers: "Hey you guys, stop singin'!!"

And the extended mix of Open Your Heart has near the end: "Well? You gonna go out with me or not? Whassa matter, ya scared or sumfin'?"

She must've been in a good mood doing the vocals and ad-libbing for both songs. And then three years pass and what do we get for an ad-libbed song? "Act of Contrition". Oh, fab.
