Put your hand up if you just can’t stand MADONNA playing the song RAY OF LIGHT in a ROCK way anymore!

I am not saying that I don’t like to watch MADONNA playing the guitar on the stage... I am talking specifically about the song RAY OF LIGHT... enough is enough... the ROCK version of this music has been so well explored, she started it in her CONFESSIONS TOUR (2006), it appeared again in LIVE EARTH (2007) and she repeated it in her STICKY & SWEET TOUR (2008)... when the subject is MADONNA we always expected re-invention...

I will not wait for MADONNA... let’s re-invent this song...

Today I will post a MASH UP that I think that is really nice and good to dance to... and furthermore, I decide to make a research about the MASH UP... Ready?

Once upon a time was a progressive rock band from the U.S.A. called TOTO... it was founded in 1976... I’LL BE OVER YOU, hit from 1986, is a song that some radio stations still play...

Well, in 1982 the band released the album TOTO IV. The romantic ballad I WON’T HOLD YOU BACK if from this album... this song is the seed of the MASH UP that I will post for you... it would be nice if you check out the music...

DJ ROGER SANCHEZ

ROGER SANCHEZ, aka ROGER S and THE S. MAN, is a popular New Yorker DJ of house music of Dominican descent.

SANCHEZ graduated from the High School of Art and Design in New York City. He attended Pratt Institute, working towards a degree in architecture, but took his father's advice to take a break from his studies to devote his full energy to DJing and see if he could make a career of it... and he did!

In 2001, he released his first (production) album, FIRST CONTACT from which the single ANOTHER CHANCE was taken. It went on to become a major hit...
The song is based around a sample from I WON’T HOLD YOU BACK, the song by TOTO that I have posted before.

I can not forget about the video that was done for this song. Directed by ANDRE PHILIPPE it looks like a short movie.

It is the definitive proof that to make a great music video it is not necessary a large amount of money... first of all it is important to have a good idea and a work of great quality.
I would love to see MADONNA making videos like this... lately it seems to me that all of her videos are just images well edited... it seems like she lost her interest for videos since the album MUSIC... but that's just my opinion...

Well, I hope she change her mind about making videos...

I initially thought that JAMIECG74 was an indicative of an e-mail or perhaps the pseudonym of some person in some forum of the Internet... but the truth is that the artist who produced the MASH UP uses the name JAMIECG74 to call himself.
The MASH UP that follows is a mixture of ANOTHER CHANCE by DJ ROGER SANCHEZ with RAY OF LIGHT by MADONNA.
The final result is great... no guitars this time!
