haha wanna know something funny

My partner reckons his uncle went to school with the guy from the La Isla Bonita video. You know, the one with the long hair playing the guitar? He says his name is Rick and he is a rocker. He was like the first guy in his town to get into rock music- and as a Mexican, that was unheard of! He had a twin brother who was an asshole too. He really does play the guitar and is supposed to be a really cool dude.

I dunno how true it is, I don't quite believe him, but he insists its true. Every now and then he and I will sit here, and I'll call out "Hey babe, was that guy really in that video?" And he will tell the story the same every time lol

Now he's sitting here squawking that it really is true and that this one time he saw the asshole brother at WalMart, and thought it was Rick, so he calls out "Hey Rick!" and the brother turns around and goes "pffft.." and my partner was thinking "God, what an asshole".

I told him I still don't believe him, and he says hes gonna take me to see him when we go back and prove he's telling the truth.

Hes supposed to be like the town hero because he was in a Madonna video LOL

so if we're whanau.......... im thinking maybe an intro to Madge or the lowdown from the inlaw LMAO> god, that sounds amazing ooohhh thats probably the closest thing we'll ever get to Madge. if he suddenly comments that weird people wanna start touching him, let him know its just the madonna lounge having a feel, LOL

I think I'm afraid to believe him, how frightening to think I could meet the guy, whose hair Madonna sniffed! (ya know, at the end of the video before she dances off lol)

I was interrogating him further after posting this, and he was saying his uncle said Rick got all the girls at High School because of the video, and because his uncle was his friend, those benefits trickled down to him too.
I said "he looks too old in that video to be a student!" but he says Mexicans show their age early. Hmmm, he knows how much I love Madonna and he swears black and blue its all true.

I'm going to make him get a photo when he goes back next year and I wanna talk to him on the phone myself before I'm 100% convinced lol

If its true, thats like 4 degrees of separation to Madonna!

P.S. I would want to sniff his hair like Madonna did....
